About Olivia
I'm Olivia! I was born in China, but I was flown over to the U.S. when I was just a baby— so I like to say I've been into traveling since day 1. I grew up in the suburbs of New Jersey just 40min outside of New York City. Growing up in one of the most densly populated areas and being surrounded by many people of diverse backgrounds, I was exposed to many different cultures and people when I was young. I think this sparked my interest and love for travel. I have been to many different diverse locations all around the United States with my family, stretching from the East Coast to the West Coast. Along my travels I found it fascinating observing how there are so many different walk and types of lifestyles depending where you decide to travel.
That being said, I have never traveled outside the United States. One of my goals regarding travel is to begin to expand my travels to outside of the U.S. I just recently got my passport and I can't wait to see the other beautiful places around the globe!

About Abby
Hi! I'm Abigail, and I am a sophomore at the University of Vermont studying computer science and data science. I was born and raised in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, a small town on the seacoast of New Hampshire. As much as I love Portsmouth, I think its lack of diversity and culture is one of the main reasons I am always eager to travel to somewhere new. During my time at UVM, I hope to study abroad somewhere in Europe. My favorite part about traveling is the opportunity it gives me to try new foods, discover different styles of fashion, and explore the unique architecture different places have to offer. Aside from English, I speak a little bit of Indonesian and Spanish. My entire family is from Indonesia and currently lives there, which is why I travel there often. Growing up, my mom had always emphasized the importance of culture as it is a way to remind us of our roots. I hope that everyone has the opportunity to travel abroad and immerse themselves in a new culture at least once in their life.
